OUR LAB SPACE
From start to finish, a project’s home is the Aerospace Experimentation and Fabrication Building (AXFAB). Within AXFAB, we have our own dedicated lab space in Room 136. Our lab space facilitates manufacturing and storage for all of our projects, and it also acts as the central hub for our organization on campus.
Test Cell 3
Test Cell 3 is our liquid bi-prop test facility. It is the only fully undergraduate, on-campus liquid bipropellant engine testing facility in the United States, built and run entirely by RDL students. Test Cell 3 was designed and built as a Capstone Project called “Tiber Designs” by students, class of 2019.
Test Cell 2 is both our solids test stand, as well as our vertical vehicle test stand. We have performed countless tests here since its creation in 2019.

Test Cell 1 is where everything started for RDL! Both our solids propulsion and liquids propulsion testing programs started here.
