Cronus

Project Cronus is the RDL’S first Reusable Decoupling system.

Project Cronus was started by Nicholia Moody upon the creation of Project Mountain Spirit, due to the later stages requiring a decoupling system to get to the Kármán line. The original plan was to use pyrotechnic couplings. However, the team wanted to be able to reuse the system and follow the industry standard.

Project Cronus has since been completed but with no hardware.
